Town Hall Meeting
New York Nonprofit Congress
In 2006 the National Council of Nonprofit Associations (NCNA) convened the first Nonprofit Congress to identify the most significant concerns affecting the future of the nonprofit sector. The priorities identified
- Developing organizational effectiveness through leadership, best practices and accountability;

- Building advocacy and grassroots community activity.
This town hall meeting will ask participants to use the established priorities to help shape a national agenda. We will share actions already taking place across New York State, strategize about collaboration and create plans for future action. Similar meetings are being held across the country in preparation for the Nonprofit Congress in June, 2008.
