The Omnibus Workers Compensation Reform Act of 1996 not only significantly reduced worker compensation rates for most nonprofits, it created competitive rating plans and credits. Our insurance subsidiary works with members to shop the insurance market and find a policy that works within the member´s budget and gives them the services that they need. It works with eligible members of NYCON to help them receive discounts of up to 40%, plus reserve potential dividends.
